Planning permission secured for the development of a greenfield site on the edge of Skipton to provide 53 new family homes, including affordable housing, landscaped public open space and play space provision.
What we did
NL Jones Planning managed the planning process on behalf of the client including pre-application, a consultation statement and full application coordination, submission and monitoring, to secure a successful outcome. Despite the fact that the site was allocated for housing within the Local Plan, the application faced several challenges, including consultation feedback relating to flooding, highways, and ecology, which had to be addressed during the determination process.
What we achieved
Full planning permission was secured, and the development is currently underway following successful management of the discharge of pre-commencement conditions.
