Permission secured for the development of a new detached property within the grounds of an existing locally listed property, together with prior approval for the extension of the existing building, in Wimbledon, South London.
What we did
To maximise the value of surplus land on a large residential plot in Wimbledon for the client, NL Jones Planning skilfully managed the pre-application and full application process, engaging with key stakeholders to ensure consultation feedback was positively addressed. In addition, prior approval was secured for an upwards extension of the existing locally listed building on the site, achieved despite local opposition, balancing the building’s mid-century character with the requirements of contemporary family living.
What we achieved
Planning permission secured, and conditions discharged to allow commencement of development on a new luxury detached residential home. Prior approval secured to extend the existing locally listed property to ensure it can provide for modern family living, whilst respecting the character of the existing building.
