Redevelopment of a petrol filling station on Balham High Road, London, to provide a high quality residential scheme comprising a total of 71 residential dwellings.
What we did
Following initial advice on the planning prospects of residential development at the site to inform the clients purchase of the property, we engaged with the Council through extensive pre-application consultations to inform a full planning application submission. A resolution to grant planning permission was secured at Committee with advice then being provided to complete the section 106 and affordable housing negotiations and ensure planning permission could be granted.
What we achieved
Through proactive management the application was negotiated through the planning process in the most expedient manner. The development potential of the site was maximised by achieving planning permission for up to 7 storeys and overcoming local tall building policy restrictions.
